Chapter 174 Search and Plan
Chapter 174 Search and Plan
Now that we know that there are precious spiritual stones hidden in the mysterious forest to the south, it's as if we know that a huge treasure is hidden in a faraway place.
This unknown temptation was like tiny thorns, deeply piercing Ruan Mianmian's heart, leaving her in a state of anxious anticipation, filled with the urge to immediately set off to explore it.
So she began to carefully check the latest weather forecast with utmost seriousness.
Because she knew that if she really wanted to embark on a journey to the deep forest to find spirit stones, she needed to have suitable good weather.
She stared intently at the weather forecast in the system and discovered that the already unusually cold weather was about to be followed by a heavy snowfall in two days.
Therefore, if she wants to travel smoothly in the short term, she can only choose to set off as soon as possible in the next day or two.
However, once you decide to go out, deciding who to take with you is a question that requires careful consideration.
At this moment, the outside world is a frozen wasteland, with a biting wind. Even so, there are still many orcs and various ferocious beasts who have to brave the cold to search for food because of hunger.
If Ruan Mianmian brings too many people, it means that the number of people left to guard the tribe will be reduced accordingly.
Given such harsh environment and difficult conditions, leaving behind a sufficient number of capable people to carefully look after the entire tribe is undoubtedly a matter of paramount importance.
So, deciding how many people to take with her, and specifically which ones to take, became a major problem she urgently needed to solve.
Sen and Yong had finished their patrol, and when they returned to the cave, it was already time for dinner.
Yong habitually went to the Great Shaman and Elder Hui. Whenever something happened, he would always consult with the older elders. Now, there was another Great Shaman to consult with.
Sen walked slowly toward the tent with steady steps. Night had fallen, and it was already dinnertime. The familiar feeling of hunger was creeping into his stomach.
Sen thought to himself, "It's time to call Ruan Ruan for dinner. I can't let her go hungry."
Walking to the tent, he first gently called out to his beloved little female outside the tent, his voice as soft as a breeze brushing against her ear, "Ruan Ruan, are you awake? It's time for dinner, don't oversleep."
Ruan Mianmian was lying quietly inside the tent, still thinking about who to take with her tomorrow. Suddenly, she heard Sen's familiar voice calling her, and her heart skipped a beat. She quickly got up and unzipped the tent.
The movements were swift and urgent, as if afraid of missing some important moment.
Immediately afterwards, a small, pure hand, as white as snow, emerged from the tent and waved towards the forest. The hand was like a flower blooming in the snow, attracting much attention.
"Sen, come here!" The soft voice carried a hint of coquetry, which warmed Sen's heart.
Upon seeing the little female's call, a flicker of joy flashed in Sen's eyes. He quickly walked onto the earthen bed and stepped into the tent.
Regardless of how many times he had entered this tent, he remained endlessly curious about it.
The scene that came into view made him pause slightly; the room had been carefully decorated by Ruan Mianmian and was now very cozy.
Several large cushions were placed against the wall in a staggered manner, like loyal guards protecting this little world that belonged to them.
In one corner of the tent, there was a fire crystal of moderate size, which emitted a soft and warm light, like a bright star, making the whole tent feel especially warm.
"Ruan Ruan, it's time for dinner. Are you feeling unwell?" Sen walked to Ruan Mianmian's sleeping bag, squatted down, and touched her forehead.
"No, I was just thinking about some things." Ruan Mianmian took Sen's slightly cool hand and gestured for him to sit down and talk.
"I'm going to the deep forest to the south tomorrow. The small stone that Mu brought today is very important to me. I'm going to investigate whether there are any veins of this kind there."
Sen was a little worried after hearing Ruan Mianmian's explanation. "Do we really have to go tomorrow? I don't know what the weather is like lately, and it's very dangerous in the deep forest right now."
Ruan Mianmian looked at him and said, "I checked the weather forecast, and it's going to snow heavily again in two days. If I want to go, I can only go tomorrow or the day after. This little stone is very important to me, and I'll feel terrible if I don't go see it."
Sen looked at Ruan Mianmian and smiled, saying, "I didn't say you couldn't go. I'll go with you wherever you want to go."
Ruan Mianmian looked at Sen and smiled slowly.
"Yes, I definitely need you with me too. The problem is who to take with me. I definitely can't dig anything out by myself, and I'm quite careful about my life, so I'll definitely need to bring enough people with me."
“Yes, we definitely need to bring more people when we go out in this kind of weather. After all, there are many uncertain factors in the climate and seasons, and it’s safer to have more people.” Sen said, touching Ruan Mianmian’s hand.
The little female's soft hand had held his slightly cold hand and hadn't let go, which made Sen feel especially warm.
“But if we take too many people out, there will be fewer people left in the tribe. If something happens, we won’t be able to get back in time.”
Upon hearing Sen's words, Ruan Mianmian also expressed her concerns.
There are still too few people in the tribe. If a few people go out to help, there are not enough people.
Sen had obviously thought of this as well, but in his opinion, nothing or no one was more important than the little female.
So when we heard she was going out, our first reaction was to bring plenty of people with us.
"In my opinion, your safety is more important!"
Sen wasn't completely ignorant, but he knew too much, which is why he knew how to make choices.
"Ugh, this is so annoying!" Ruan Mianmian slumped onto her sleeping bag, feeling rather deflated.
Sen looked at the spoiled little female, a hint of amusement appearing in his dark eyes.
"Let's go out for dinner first. After dinner, we'll hear the Great Shaman's opinion and then see who's suitable to take."
After he finished speaking, he stood up and helped Ruan Mianmian up.
Looking at the tiny female who wasn't even as tall as his shoulder, his protective instincts reached their peak.
