Chapter 660: Heading to the Convention (2)
Stepping on the teleportation station, Nash arrived in the Azure Heaven Alliance in the blink of an eye.
Taking out his intercom, he notified Marcellin of his arrival.
"You can head directly to the meeting area. We can meet there."
"Got it."
---
Arriving at the core of the Azure Public Trading Zone, Nash saw others had arrived before him.
Recognizing Nash, the person behind the Neon Star Tower quickly stepped forward to greet him.
Although unfamiliar with them, Nash greeted everyone in return.
As they say, it’s better to have more friends than enemies.
Everyone here might even be a future member of the Neon Star Alliance.
Soon after greeting everyone, they began talking about the upcoming convention while waiting for Marcellin.
Curious about their gossip, Nash blended in.
They discussed various top-tier teams they could befriend and latch onto, teams they should avoid, where they should trade, and more.
Some had already attended the previous convention, so they were more experienced about what to do.
Of course, with the briefing from Marcellin beforehand, Nash was just joining the fun.
Soon, Marcellin, whom everyone had been waiting for, arrived.
"It seems that everyone is here. Good."
After confirming that every high-level team he had invited was present, Marcellin guided everyone to the teleportation station at the core of the Azure Public Trading Zone.
With the size of the Wild Void Area, traveling from one place to another via battleship would take too long.
Even a tier 9 planetary battleship was not enough to navigate this place.
Thus, to facilitate communication and management across such a large area, each Azure Public Trading Zone had a teleportation station at its core.
Usually, such wanton space travel was not easily established, as various laws were already intertwined within a territory.
However, in this Wild Void Area, without a territorial ruler, there were no rules.
As long as they had the capability, they could set as many teleportation stations as they wanted.
Stepping inside the teleportation station, everyone felt their vision shift as they appeared in another identical place.
Before they could scrutinize the surrounding area, a sudden turmoil gripped their bodies and souls.
As if experiencing a long whirlpool of storm in an instant, they couldn’t help but hurl.
"This is one of the Azure Heaven Alliance branches. We’ll shortly teleport to another one after you rest," Marcellin said, looking at everyone.
Besides those tier 6 talents, everyone was on the ground with pale faces.
Teleporting across the distance of several domains at once felt as if wringing one’s soul and body from the inside out.
Not changing expression after experiencing such a change was already admirable.
Sweeping his eyes, Marcellin noticed an odd one: Nash.
It seemed he was even less affected than a tier 6 being, taking the leisure to look around like a tourist.
Even Marcellin himself, a tier 7 being, felt queasy in his stomach, yet Nash seemed unaffected.
"You seem to be fine. Is your talent related to space?"
"Didn’t you already investigate?"
He didn’t believe the Azure Heaven Alliance would invite him without knowing anything.
"I’m just asking." Marcellin paused, thinking he had asked a stupid question.
From the Neon Star Alliance’s origins, they dug everything they could find the instant they held interest in the Neon Battleship.
Naturally, among them was a detailed account of Nash’s life; although not extensive, they still knew every major aspect of his life.
With all kinds of abilities and connections, the investigation didn’t take much effort.
Meanwhile, not noticing anything interesting, Nash took a seat and began to meditate while the rest recovered.
The space-teleportation anomaly didn’t have the slightest effect on him.
With his body filled with primal void energy, how could a mere space turbulence affect him?
He didn’t even feel a ripple of disorientation, which left him confused about others’ reactions.
Fortunately, it didn’t take long for everyone to regain their composure.
Entering the teleportation station another time, they teleported to another branch of the Azure Heaven Alliance.
Although long-range teleportation was not limited to a Wild Void territory, their abilities were.
The longest teleportation distance they could manage was only a few domains.
Any distance longer was already out of their capability.
As a result, to travel from one place to another, they would need to use a few teleportation stations.
Knowing they would still have to suffer a few times, some couldn’t help but complain in whispers.
Unfortunately, unable to change anything, they could only hop from one teleportation point to another, hoping it would be over soon.
Along the way, they also encountered other teams from the Azure Heaven Alliance who were going to the convention.
Seeing their similar state, they felt somehow comforted, which gave them the energy to continue.
---
Soon, after passing over a dozen teleportation stations, they arrived at the headquarters of the Azure Heaven Alliance.
Looking around, they quickly noticed the difference from a mere trading zone.
If what they had been before was merely a rural area, this place was like a metropolis.
"Just how massive is the foundation of the Azure Heaven Alliance?"
Nash thought he had already seen through them; however, arriving at this place raised his estimation a notch.
Just the materials of every building and the ground were made of tier 9 materials.
Furthermore, looking up at the glittering sky, he roughly counted trillions of stars.
Estimating the number of civilizations and planets living under it, he could only imagine how far the power of will in this place had evolved.
"You don’t have to be too shocked. The power of the Chronos Alliance is not worse than ours," Marcellin said, noticing Nash’s expression.
Although only from a high-level team, his admiration for Nash superseded his apparent status.
With such talent and will, Marcellin knew that as long as Nash didn’t die, he might be able to compete for the throne of this Wild Void Area.
Of course, that is provided they succeed and conquer this place.
Otherwise, no matter how strong or talented they were, it would be all for naught.
After all, countless generations tried to vie for this place but failed.
They still didn’t know what secret could be hidden that had thwarted all these generations of talents.
