Chapter 27 Villa
Chapter 27 Villa
Just as Jiang Wanwan had expected, Zhao Zheyong walked over slowly with his hands behind his back.
"Miss Jiang Er...can I call you Wanwan?" Zhao Zheyong smiled at her.
This smile was full of amusement and calculation.
Jiang Wanwan knew that Zhao Zheyong wanted to take things a step further with her, but she didn't expect him to be so direct. Her face turned slightly red, "Okay."
Jiang Wanwan bowed gracefully, her sleeves brushing across her face, emitting a burst of fragrance.
She felt that the fragrance was a little strange, but with Zhao Zheyong beside her, Jiang Wanwan didn't have time to think about it.
Zhao Zheyong gently supported Jiang Wanwan's arm and helped her stand up. "Will Wanwan have anything else to do? I have a private courtyard nearby. If Wanwan is free, can you go with me to have a cup of tea and appreciate the flowers?"
Jiang Wanwan still clearly remembered the ridicule Jiang Yunxi had just said. Jiang Yunxi said that the Third Prince Zhao Zheyong did not like her.
But now, looking at Zhao Zheyong who was talking and laughing in front of her, Jiang Wanwan felt very proud in her heart.
Jiang Wanwan thought, "Haha, Jiang Yunxi, you are wrong. The Third Prince likes me. He is now begging me to go to him for tea!"
Jiang Wanwan was about to agree when Lan'er felt something was wrong and immediately reminded her in a low voice, "Miss, we sneaked out of the house. We need to go back early to avoid being discovered by the adults."
Zhao Zheyong heard this and smiled indulgently, "Wanwan is really naughty."
Reminded by Lan'er's words, Jiang Wanwan felt ashamed. She turned around and glared at Lan'er, signaling her to shut up.
Jiang Wanwan didn't want Zhao Zheyong to hear anything bad about her.
Seeing that Jiang Wanwan was angry, Lan'er was so scared that she immediately pursed her lips tightly and dared not say anything.
"Then Wanwan is sorry to bother you. I'd like to go to your place and have a cup of tea." Jiang Wanwan smiled sweetly at Zhao Zheyong.
Lan'er was anxious and wanted to stop it, but she kept her mouth tightly shut, reminding her not to make Jiang Wanwan angry again.
The carriage jolted all the way into the deep mountains.
Lan'er lifted the car curtain and looked at the lush trees outside. She felt that the air was very fresh; but as the sky gradually darkened, she felt a little anxious.
Jiang Wanwan didn't feel it was getting late, but rather felt that the carriage was moving too slowly. She was eager to recite poems and compose couplets in front of Zhao Zheyong and have some romantic time with him.
When they arrived at Zhao Zheyong's villa, Zhao Zheyong went in first.
Jiang Wanwan was dissatisfied with what Lan'er had just said, and blocked Lan'er at the door. With a face full of resentment, she lectured her unhappily, "Why did you say so much in front of the Third Prince just now? Don't I know that I sneaked out of the house? Don't I know that I should go back early? Do you need to lose face in front of others?"
Hearing Jiang Wanwan's unreasonable accusation, Lan'er felt very aggrieved, "I am reminding you with good intentions, otherwise you will punish me again..."
Seeing Lan'er about to cry, Jiang Wanwan's eyes became even angrier, "Why, do you want me to leave an impression of being fierce and brutal in front of His Royal Highness the Third Prince, and to mistreat slaves?"
Although Lan'er felt aggrieved, she had to twist her skin and force back the tears.
Jiang Wanwan felt that she was extremely unlucky, so she left her outside in anger.
After being scolded by Jiang Wanwan for her unreasonable behavior, Lan'er didn't want to stay by Jiang Wanwan's side and be scolded anymore, so she simply sat in the carriage and waited for Jiang Wanwan.
Jiang Wanwan walked into Zhao Zheyong's villa alone, feeling a little nervous.
But when she thought of Jiang Yunxi's smug face and the opportunity to step on Jiang Yunxi in the future, Jiang Wanwan plucked up her courage, clenched the handkerchief tightly in her hand, and walked into Zhao Zheyong's yard.
Seeing Zhao Zheyong ordering people to set up a barbecue grill in the yard and Zhao Zheyong sitting leisurely beside him tasting wine, Jiang Wanwan felt relieved.
"I just happened to hunt some game yesterday. Now that Wanwan is here today, it's a good time for us to try some." Zhao Zheyong waved to Jiang Wanwan.
Seeing that there was only an empty seat next to Zhao Zheyong, Jiang Wanwan looked a little embarrassed and sat down next to Zhao Zheyong.
Jiang Wanwan picked up the cut barbecued meat from the plate with chopsticks and put it in her mouth, tasting it carefully.
Suddenly, Jiang Wanwan's eyes sparkled with admiration, and she was very supportive, "Your Highness is amazing, this venison tastes really good."
Her flattery hit the mark of Zhao Zheyong. His vanity was satisfied and his face was full of pride. "As long as Wanwan likes it. If you have time, you can come and eat here often!"
Of course Jiang Wanwan wanted to see Zhao Zheyong often, so she immediately agreed.
She thought to herself, "Jiang Yunxi, ah Jiang Yunxi, you didn't expect that even if you saw the Third Prince many times in the palace, what would happen? Doesn't he still like me? Doesn't he beg to see me every day?"
Zhao Zheyong asked the servants to put the meat on the rack and roast it, while he sat next to Jiang Wanwan inconspicuously.
Jiang Wanwan felt that Zhao Zheyong was getting too close to her. Her heart was beating rapidly and she was just about to move a little bit to the side.
Zhao Zheyong put his hand on Jiang Wanwan's shoulder, as if he was holding Jiang Wanwan in his arms.
Jiang Wanwan's face flushed and her heart was about to jump out of her throat.
But she didn't want to struggle, and was greedy for the temporary closeness with Zhao Zheyong.
He covered Jiang Wanwan with his cloak and said, "The wind is strong. I'm afraid you'll get sick."
Jiang Wanwan's heart was immediately filled with sweetness. She felt that Zhao Zheyong was really considerate to her, much better than her father and brother.
She leaned her head into Zhao Zheyong's arms and said, "Thank you, Your Highness."
Jiang Wanwan fell into the gentle paradise that Zhao Zheyong had created for her.
"Since I call you Wanwan, why do you still call me Your Highness? Change your name. Otherwise it seems so strange!"
Jiang Wanwan raised the corners of her mouth high, her tone was full of coquettishness and shyness, "Then what should I call you?"
"Just call me Brother Yong." Zhao Zheyong coaxed her, "Call me that and I'll hear it."
Jiang Wanwan bit her lip, her face already redder than it could be, and whispered, "Brother Yong."
Zhao Zheyong went even further, his ear close to her lips, and used force in his hands to pull Jiang Wanwan closer to him, "What did you say? I didn't hear you."
"Brother Yong." Jiang Wanwan raised her voice and called into Zhao Zheyong's ear, feeling both embarrassed and annoyed.
Only then did Zhao Zheyong relax a little and let Jiang Wanwan go.
The meat was not yet cooked when Zhao Zheyong suddenly picked up the wine glass and handed it to Jiang Wanwan.
Seeing that it was wine, Jiang Wanwan was worried that Jiang Rang would find out that she did not go to ask Jiang Yunxi for help, but went out to drink and have fun. If she was punished by Jiang Rang, she declined, "I am not very good at drinking."
