Chapter 37: Kick out the white moonlight, the Best Actor is mine! -37
Mu Wanwan was frantic, twisting her body desperately, but to no avail. Seeing Mo Ziting being thrown out the door, Brother Jin casually closed the door, then turned around with a fawning smile on his face.
"Baby, I'll untie you right now. Don't pay any attention to that stinky woman. She really thinks she's something special." With that, Brother Jin began to untie the ropes binding Mu Wanwan.
However, he didn't completely remove her restraints; he only untied the ropes around her ankles and legs, while her hands remained tightly bound. "Brother Jin, my hands are still tied!" she said coquettishly, trying to gain more freedom.
Jin helped her up, a sly glint in his eyes: "You know I kidnapped you. What if I loosen all the ropes binding you and you manage to escape? Wouldn't that be like letting a cooked duck fly away, and all my previous efforts be wasted?" With that, he slowly approached her, a strange smile playing on his lips.
Meanwhile, Gu Zhishen was leading a group of his men, rushing towards the designated location. Along the way, he was extremely anxious, constantly praying that Mu Wanwan and the child would be safe and sound. He had already prepared for the worst.
Just then, a video message from an unknown number popped up on his phone screen. A sense of unease welled up inside him, but he didn't hesitate and quickly clicked to open the video. When the image appeared before his eyes, his eyes widened, and he couldn't help but exclaim, "Wanwan!"
Mu Wanwan was alone in a room with a strange middle-aged man. There was no sound in the video, but he could see the man occasionally moving closer to her. This made his heart race, and a strong sense of worry welled up inside him.
Immediately after, another text message arrived. "Gu Zhishen, how does it feel to have your lover violated? Hahaha..." He looked at this provocative text message, his anger and anxiety intertwined, wishing he could find Wanwan immediately and protect her.
He dialed the unknown number directly, but all he heard was a disconnected number message. This was utterly baffling; it was as if the other party had deliberately provoked him and then vanished without a trace.
Worried that Gu Zhishen might do something rash due to excessive stimulation, the agent quickly advised, "Brother Gu, let's notify the police. We'll go check it out first, and they'll be there soon." Gu Zhishen nodded; he knew he couldn't act impulsively at this moment and had to remain calm.
"Wanwan, you must wait for me!" Mo Ziting stood guard outside the door, her eyes glued to her phone screen. Only when Mu Wanwan was finally pinned to the bed by the man did she breathe a sigh of relief and quickly lock the screen. Looking at the closed door, she felt no satisfaction of revenge, but rather an indescribable unease. She couldn't help but glance back at the closed door, but ultimately hardened her heart and decided to ignore the woman inside.
Just then, a large group of people suddenly rushed out from the side of the house, wielding sticks and charging menacingly towards them. Mo Ziting turned pale with fright and retreated repeatedly. In a panic, she turned and opened the door, then rushed into the room, quickly locking and then double-locking the door.
"Let me go! Let me go!" Inside the room, Mu Wanwan was still struggling violently, using all her strength to resist the man pressing down on her. The man called Brother Jin was in the throes of excitement. Hearing the door open, he impatiently turned around and saw Mo Ziting. He was instantly enraged.
"Get out! Can't you see I'm doing something? Believe me or not, I'll take care of you too!" Brother Jin shouted angrily at his subordinate who was knocking on the door while fastening his belt.
Mo Ziting was terrified and said in a trembling voice, "Brother Jin, no, something bad has happened! There are so many people outside!"
Jin's face darkened, and he immediately jumped off the bed, quickly fastened his belt, then strode to the door, opened the observation hole, and peeked outside.
"Damn it, it's Gu Zhishen!" Jin cursed under his breath, a hint of fear and unease flashing in his eyes.
Upon hearing Gu Zhishen's name, Mu Wanwan felt a surge of joy and relief. She quickly sat up and huddled tightly in the corner of the bed, trying to minimize her presence.
"Ah Shen?" she wondered. Weren't we supposed to meet tomorrow night? Why did he come here now? And what would he think if he saw her here?
Jin looked around the room, cursing inwardly: This godforsaken place only has one door! What incredibly bad luck! To make matters worse, they were already surrounded by people outside. They were trapped inside, unsure how to deal with their predicament. Suddenly, a loud crash came from outside. The door was kicked open with a bang, the frame and door separating instantly, the door falling heavily to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Jin was startled. He quickly pulled a sharp dagger from his pocket, jumped onto the bed without hesitation, hugged Mu Wanwan tightly, and held the knife to her neck. Mu Wanwan stared wide-eyed in terror, her body trembling uncontrollably.
"Put down the knife!" Gu Zhishen's expression changed drastically upon seeing this, and he shouted loudly at Brother Jin. However, before he could react further, Mo Ziting turned around and saw the shocking scene before her—Brother Jin had taken Mu Wanwan hostage!
"Gu Zhishen, you'd better not move, or I can't guarantee your woman's safety!" Brother Jin said viciously, bringing the dagger in his hand closer to Mu Wanwan's neck, leaving a red mark on her fair skin.
“Ah Shen…”
"Ziting, come up behind me quickly."
Gu Zhishen only saw someone rush into the house and close the door, and he did not know that this person was Mo Ziting. At this moment, he thought that Mo Ziting had also been kidnapped by a man.
His words brought tears to Mo Ziting's eyes; it turned out he hadn't abandoned her after all.
"Ah Shen! Mo Ziting is in cahoots with him!"
With tears in her eyes and her clothes torn and disheveled, Mu Wanwan's words struck like a thunderbolt, leaving everyone present stunned.
"Ah Shen, no, no!"
Mo Ziting waved her hand, wanting to explain, but she was speechless and could only say no.
"Hahaha……"
Jin Ge, who was holding Mu Wanwan hostage, burst out laughing, "Gu Zhishen, I almost managed to collect both of your women. You really couldn't have come at the worst possible time!"
Mo Ziting collapsed to the ground and grabbed Gu Zhishen's leg. "Ah Shen, I... I'm a victim too. Don't listen to Mu Wanwan's nonsense."
