Meeting you in autumn

Chapter 123 Reconciliation

Chapter 123 Reconciliation

Before Jing Li could even recover from this sudden turn of events, Guan Yu rushed forward and kicked him several times.

Then, while kicking, he roared, "I'll teach you a lesson for bullying Yi! I'll show you what's what!"

After venting her anger, Guan Yu turned and ran towards Jing Yi like a gust of wind.

When she came to Jing Yi, her face instantly filled with a gentle smile, and she gently took Jing Yi's hand.

He said softly, "Ah Yi, let's go! Don't pay attention to that bastard."

Looking at the woman before him, who had just been so fierce but was now so tender, especially when he heard Guan Yu say "I love you," an indescribable emotion quietly welled up in his heart...

Then, with a smile, he extended his broad, warm hand and took Guan Yu's slender, delicate hand in his.

And so, the two walked side by side toward the car parked not far away.

The two then got into the car, and with a deep, powerful roar from the engine, the wheels spun rapidly, kicking up a cloud of dust, and soon disappeared at the end of the road.

At this moment, Jing Li, who was left behind, watched the departing vehicle and was so angry that he was furious.

His once handsome face was now twisted and contorted with rage, veins bulging on his forehead, and his eyes blazing as he stared intently ahead.

However, just as he was consumed by anger, a cell phone suddenly rang urgently from his pocket.

Jing Li snapped out of his daze, reached for his phone, and felt a chill run down his spine when he saw the incoming call number on the screen.

He hesitated for a moment, but finally pressed the answer button.

The person on the other end of the phone said something, but Jing Li's face instantly turned deathly pale, completely devoid of color.

The hand holding the phone began to tremble slightly, and the whole person seemed to have suffered a major blow, teetering on the verge of collapse.

After a long while, Jing Li finally managed to calm himself down. He hung up the phone blankly, then turned around mechanically as if he had lost his soul.

He ignored the friends who tried to comfort him and rudely pushed away those who were blocking his way.

With heavy steps, he left this place that had filled him with humiliation and despair.

On the other side, as soon as Jing Yi stepped into the room, he firmly blocked Guan Yu against the doorway.

This sudden action stunned the servants in the room, but they quickly recovered and tactfully left.

In the blink of an eye, only the two figures, tightly entwined, remained in the large living room.

Then, Jing Yi hugged Guan Yu's slender body tightly, burying his head deeply into her fair and tender neck.

Guan Yu was caught off guard by Jing Yi's series of actions and was unable to react for a moment.

However, just a moment later, the love she felt for Jing Yi welled up in her heart, so she slowly raised her arms and gently hugged him back.

Time passed by, and soon Guan Yu suddenly felt an unusual dampness on her neck.

Startled, she quickly broke free from Jing Yi's warm embrace and looked up at his handsome face.

Guan Yu was stunned when she saw it – Jing Yi's eyes, which usually shone with unwavering determination, were now filled with glistening tears, which were slowly sliding down his cheeks.

Guan Yu could hardly believe what she was seeing. This was the first time in her life she had ever seen Jing Yi cry!

A wave of intense heartache washed over her instantly. She instinctively reached out and gently wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes, softly comforting him, "Ah Yi, it's alright, I'll always be by your side."

Before she finished speaking, she opened her arms again and hugged Jing Yi tightly, while one hand gently patted his broad back back and forth, as if this could soothe all the pain in his heart.

At this moment, Jing Yi's eyes were still red, and he said in a slightly trembling voice, "Ayu, promise me, you will never leave me again, okay?"

Upon hearing this, Guan Yu felt as if her heart had been violently ripped apart, and she felt a sharp pain.

She took a deep breath, trying to calm her turbulent emotions, and then answered with unwavering determination, "Ah Yi, I will never leave you again."

After saying that, she rested her head on Jing Yi's chest, listening to his strong and powerful heartbeat.

Jing Yi let out a slightly lazy "hmm" from his nose, the sound seemingly still carrying a hint of weariness.

Then, he slowly released her, but quickly took her soft, boneless little hand again and they went up the stairs together.

In the blink of an eye, they had entered the spacious and cozy master bedroom.

The room was filled with a faint lavender scent, making people feel incredibly relaxed and at ease.

"Ayu, stay with me for a while, okay?" Jing Yi said softly.

Guan Yu nodded slightly, indicating his agreement.

Then, the two of them lay down together on the soft and comfortable bed.

Jing Yi turned and hugged Guan Yu tightly from behind, as if guarding the most precious treasure in the world.

He gently rested his head on Guan Yu's shoulder, his warm breath seeping through her thin clothes, making Guan Yu's heart flutter.

Guan Yu lay there quietly, able to clearly feel Jing Yi's steady breathing.

A moment later, he reached out his hand and slowly grasped Jing Yi's large hand.

"Ah Yi, let's make up, okay?"

Guan Yu's tone revealed a hint of barely perceptible tension.

"Hmm..." Jing Yi seemed exhausted, and his response sounded weak.

Upon hearing this answer, Guan Yu smiled with satisfaction.

Then she closed her eyes and continued softly, "Ah Yi, no matter what happens in the future, I will always be by your side."

However, this time, Jing Yi did not speak.

He simply tightened his arms, holding Guan Yu even closer, as if trying to merge her into his own body.

Guan Yu noticed his fatigue and said no more.

The two then lay there quietly, enjoying the peace and warmth of the moment.

After an unknown amount of time, Jing Yi's breathing became steady, and he gradually fell asleep.

Guan Yu listened to his breathing and felt a surge of happiness and peace of mind.

Guan Yu turned around gently, looked at Jing Yi's face, and couldn't help but give him a light kiss on the lips.

Then she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. In her dream, they shared many wonderful moments together, forever...

After an unknown amount of time, Jing Yi finally woke up and slowly sat up, supporting herself.

Once he was fully awake, he was suddenly startled to realize that the once bright sky outside the window was now shrouded in darkness.

He rubbed his still somewhat dazed head and subconsciously turned to look beside him, only to see an empty bed; the familiar figure had long since vanished.

Jing Yi couldn't help but raise the corners of his mouth slightly, revealing a self-deprecating smile.
