Chapter 4026 MU Superbody Major Event (106)
Chapter 4026 MU: The Superbody Incident (106)
Magneto, in the main universe, was floating in the boundless universe, silently watching the quietly rotating azure planet in front of him.
Where did this come from? Am I not in the Andromeda Galaxy? Is this the legendary "I don't go to the mountain, but the mountain comes to me"?
"Eric... Eric? Eric?!"
Professor X's voice echoed in his mind several times before he finally snapped out of it and asked, "What's wrong?"
"I was just about to ask you what's wrong. Didn't you say you were just going out for some fresh air? Why aren't you back yet? Everyone's waiting for you."
“Don’t wait for me,” said Magneto of the main universe. “Go ask those two in the central universe. They… Earth… Andromeda Galaxy… I mean…”
"What's wrong with you?!" Professor X's tone was a little anxious.
Magneto from the main universe really didn't know what to say, so he could only take off his helmet and say, "See for yourself."
"What did you see that could make you... Oh God! This... It... I... Huh???"
"Professor. Professor?!" Quicksilver from the main universe gently patted Professor X's shoulder and said, "Professor, are you finished? If there are no questions, I need to go back to patrol. I..."
“Wait, Pietro,” Professor X from the main universe said, “Don’t go out yet.”
“But it’s almost time for me to change shifts,” Quicksilver from the main universe said somewhat embarrassedly. “I’ve already had someone from another universe take my shift, so I can’t miss it this time.”
“What I mean is, everyone stay put,” Professor X announced in his mind, then immediately connected to Charles’s mental network in the central universe and asked, “What’s going on?”
"What?" Charles was clearly busy and only managed to reply to the message when he had a spare moment.
"That planet outside."
Which one?
"The blue one."
"Where did this blue planet come from? There are no blue planets in the Andromeda Galaxy... Oh, that's not from the Andromeda Galaxy. It's just here to lay low for a while and will be back soon. Don't worry too much."
"...lay low for a while?"
"By the way, I noticed that Magneto from your universe isn't at the base. Tell him to come back as soon as possible. Earth has brought in a formidable monster; Wanda needs to deal with it. The rest of you should stay out of the way."
"I think the most urgent thing is to explain why Earth is located in the Andromeda Galaxy. What do you think, Charles?"
“There’s not much to explain,” Charles said. “As you can see, our universe’s Earth has some very flexible emergency evacuation and safety measures that are entirely based on defensive counterattacks.”
"So it will run?"
"Yes, and I'm not slow at all. I only set off three minutes ago, and I'm already here."
Professor X's notification from the main universe was a bit slow. Magneto is extremely sensitive to changes in the magnetic field within the universe, and the magnetic fluctuations generated by the faster-than-light jump when Earth jumped over had already attracted the attention of all Magnetos. So now all the Magnetos are gathered in a circle, silently watching the quietly rotating blue planet in the universe.
"This……"
"it……"
"Um……"
Several times Magneto wanted to speak, but the words circled around his lips and he didn't know how to say them.
"To be fair, you guys have a pretty good relationship with ordinary people's governments," Magneto of the main universe finally managed to find something to praise, saying to Eric of the central universe. His expression clearly showed he had racked his brains for this.
Even Magneto had to admit that, regardless of how the plan to take the entire Earth away was devised and executed, the fact that Earth's first stop during its escape was the mutants' stronghold shows a lack of trust in the mutants.
Magneto from other universes would rack his brains trying to figure out why Earth's leaders would agree to throw their home planet into a mutant's den.
"Ahem," Eric cleared his throat. Just as he was about to say something, a crimson figure descended upon the Earth. She looked around for a while, but didn't seem to find what she was looking for, so she flew towards Eric.
"Hmm, Dad, didn't you say there were enemies? Where are they?"
“They haven’t arrived yet,” Eric said. “The Earth’s jump speed is too fast; they might not have been able to keep up. The mages should have already gone to look for them. Be careful not to damage the sky island later.”
Scarlet Witch Wanda stretched her arms and shook her head, saying, "I'm getting dizzy from taking care of the kids lately, and I can't wait to beat something up. Hopefully, that Eye Demon can take a beating."
In the main universe, Magneto turned his head to look at Wanda, then turned his head back. After a while, he turned his head to look at her again, then turned his head back once more.
Wanda noticed his gaze and felt somewhat puzzled. She lowered her voice and asked Eric, "Why do they keep looking at me?"
"Because you look good."
Wanda looked down at herself and said, "I think I've gained a little weight recently. I'm wearing loose clothes, so it shouldn't be too noticeable, right?"
How many weeks old is the baby?
“I’m only 18 weeks along,” Wanda said, gesturing to her waist with her hand. “I feel much thinner than when I was pregnant the first time, since I had twins then, but this time it’s just one.”
Eric said nothing. The thought of another troublemaker being born in less than six months made him visibly wither away. "You take care of this kid," he thought. "Anyone who does will go crazy."
When he was taking care of Anya before, Anya was just an ordinary little girl with a heart condition and very weak mobility. She spent most of her time in the hospital bed, so he didn't think much of it.
If he had known that Wanda's two sons, along with Rogers Jr. and Franklin, were in this situation, he would never have taken on the task of looking after the children. The only difference between taking care of these four little devils and staying in a concentration camp was that the concentration camp was quieter.
"Are you pregnant?" Magneto of the main universe finally blurted out after holding it in for a long time.
Wanda nodded and said, "Yes. This time it's a girl. I've been pregnant on and off for about a year, but my pregnancy period is only a little over four months. She's very healthy, and I think she even kicked me last night."
"What did you just say you were going to do?" Magneto from the main universe asked.
"What?" Wanda didn't quite understand, then she realized and said, "Oh, the mages told me there's a pretty troublesome guy chasing Earth. I was just getting tired of taking care of the kids, so I came out for some fresh air and maybe helped them out a bit... Don't look at me with that worried look. I'm not an ordinary person; pregnancy doesn't affect me."
All of Magneto's expressions showed disapproval.
Wanda ignored them, rolled her eyes at them, and then said to Eric, "Didn't Professor X send out a notice? You know, I make quite a fuss when I'm involved, so it's best if there are no outsiders around."
After saying that, she kept glancing at the other Magnetos, feeling that her hint was quite obvious. But Eric shook his head and said, "They probably won't listen to Charles on this."
“Okay, then I’ll just have to clear the place myself,” Wanda said with a shrug.
Just as she was about to continue speaking, a violent fluctuation suddenly occurred in space not far from Earth, and a terrifying aura rose, followed by several magical lights flashing brightly. Strange's roar echoed in everyone's ears: "Stop!! Beholder!!!"
"Here it comes!" Wanda roared, and the Scarlet Power centered on her erupted like a tsunami, directly hitting Magneto, who was surrounded by her.
With a whoosh, all Magnetos were blasted away by the immense crimson power. Wanda roared again, and countless crimson forces spread out like silk, enveloping the strange figure that had not yet fully materialized from the void.
The once vast and empty universe was now entirely red, the crimson power of varying shades transforming the area into a crimson dimension. This made it even more difficult for the enormous figure, already surrounded and blocked by magical forces, to advance.
"Earth!" Magneto from the main universe shouted, "Watch out for Earth!"
“Don’t worry about the Earth,” Eric told him. “The Earth will take care of itself.”
As if to prove his words, the blue planet, which had been quietly rotating in place, burst into a dazzling light once more and began to retreat at sub-light speed. After escaping the interference range of the Crimson Power, it made a faster-than-light jump and rushed to the other side of the galaxy.
Magneto from the main universe couldn't help but look back, only to find that Earth had long since disappeared from his sight. Distracted, he was then knocked over by the Crimson Force.
“Wanda, let it in!” Strange shouted.
Wanda nodded, slightly reducing her strength, and the beholder's enormous body appeared in the void. The instant its form solidified, Wanda felt a sting in her eyes, and her head spun slightly.
"Don't look at it!" Strange warned.
Having once encountered the Outer Gods, Wanda understood this feeling. She immediately abandoned her human body and transformed completely into the Crimson Force. Her senses also changed from her original human features to the omnipresent Crimson Force, and the Outer Gods obviously could not invade the senses in this form.
"What should we do?" Wanda's voice, now transformed into the power of Crimson, carried a natural majesty and divinity. She said, "I can banish it immediately, but I think we should leave it behind!"
"Can you kill it?"
“No, but I can devour most of its power, making it unable to materialize again,” Wanda said.
Strange didn't respond, and Wanda knew he was acquiescing. So she began to act.
The crimson power was released further, stirring up the chaotic forces of the entire universe, and the entire Andromeda Galaxy was immersed in red. These forces surged towards the Beholder, gradually eroding and enveloping it.
At first, the one-eyed monster was able to struggle a bit, but no projection of the Outer Gods in other universes can exceed the rules of this universe, and the Crimson Power used by Wanda is derived from the fundamental power of the universe, the Chaos Power. The Eye Demon could not resist this power for long.
"I say, you will return!" Wanda's voice echoed through the vast universe. The fierce screams of the beholder could not penetrate the veil formed by layers of crimson power; its body began to gradually become transparent, and the terrifying aura it exuded gradually dissipated.
But then Wanda frowned. She had completely eroded the Eye Demon's power, yet for some reason, she couldn't banish him from this universe; even the portal he had entered through was completely closed. Wanda tried several times, but to no avail.
Suddenly, another figure appeared behind the mages.
“Teacher!” Strange called out as he turned around.
“I’m back,” the Ancient One said, clasping her hands together as she floated in space. “Only you can banish it, Stephen. This is your destiny.”
Strange's gaze sharpened, and he flew forward to Wanda, saying, "Leave it to me."
Wanda nodded to him, gradually gathering her Crimson Power and stepping back slightly. Strange stared intently at the Eye Demon; he knew that even in his weakened state, this was an opponent not to be underestimated, and he had to win this battle.
Without the other superheroes around, Strange had nothing left to fear. In an instant, an enormous, multi-armed statue rose up from behind him. Even the Earth looked like a grain of sand in front of this colossal statue, and humanity appeared incredibly small in comparison.
Strange closed his eyes and clasped his hands together, his cloak billowing in the turbulent flow of energy. The energy began to accumulate gradually, and suddenly, he and the idol simultaneously opened their eyes, unleashing an energy burst that had reached the limit of a single universe, causing the energy of the entire universe to resonate and tremble.
